Chantilly/Tiffany cats are still very rare, and they are frequently mistakenly thought to be of Burmese origin. Early Tiffany cats occurred in chocolate, but the use of other breeds in the breeding program expanded the color palette, adding cinnamon, fawn, tabby and lilac species.

These cats shed very little and have no dander; therefore, they pose little or no problems for allergic people.
