Russian Blue - Picture The Russian Blue is thought to have been brought by sailors to England and Northern Europe from the Archangel Isles in the 1860’s. Claims have also been made that they descended from the Royal Cat of the Russian Czars and that this breed was a favorite of Queen Victoria.
