The Savannah is a relatively new breed of spotted cat. These cats were bred to have the look of the rare African Serval. They were developed by crossing wild cats, in this case the African Serval, to domestic spotted cats. This breed possesses the wild beauty and grace of the Serval, but with the disposition of a domestic cat. Due to the difficulty in breeding and birthing, this breed is still relatively rare.
