As its name indicates, this breed originated in Australia. It was developed primarily using the Burmese with the Abyssinian and domestic shorthair. This breed is lightly spotted and comes is a wide variety of soft colors. The Australian Mist maintained the loving personality of the Burmese and has its own unique charm.
