Many people mix up this breed with Siamese, but it takes no more than a brief look at their fully coated tail to see the difference. This breed was probably received by mixing a long-coat’s gene into the Siamese gene makeup to produce a Siamese-like long-coat.

This breed was identified in 1979, and accepted for champion competition in 1986. By appearance these pets resemble Balinese, and until 1979 they were considered to be ones.
