Nowadays, Siamese are never used in breeding these cats. A Siamese species was used only once, and that was back in the 1950s, and later on all breeding project lay in crossbreeding of the offsprings. Thus was produced a Persian cat with a Siamese coloration and distinctive blue eyes.

These wonderful cats were developed in the 1950s in Great Britain and the USA. The goal of the project was to produce a species, which had to bear a close resemblance to a Persian and feature a Siamese pointed color.
