This breed is believed to be imported from Ethiopia, formerly Abyssinia, though it is not a fact as the recent researchers show that the most convicting origin of the breed is the coast of the Indian Ocean and parts of southeast Asia. An abyssinian cat, as a kitten, loves attention just as strongly as an adult cat.
